BOAMBF  – is about to have its third birthday. It’s a rather new, totally FREE children and young people’s books and writing festival in Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire.  Based in the library, it will take place on Saturday 15th July 2017.

At the heart of it, are local children’s authors:  Catherine Bruton/Cate Shearwater, Alex Campbell, Angie Morgan Fleur Hitchcock, Maudie Smith, Angie Morgan, and Anna Wilson. This year we have been joined by two more wonderful local authors, Rachel Ward and Sharon Tregenza.

The festival has a programme of activities for children – aged 4 upward and includes readings, making, writing activities, and laughs – lots of laughs.

The festival co-incides with the start of the annual Summer Reading Challenge.
